About the Role:
As an Electrical Installation Assessor, you will play a key role in supporting apprentices to successfully achieve their qualifications and develop strong technical and professional skills. You will manage a caseload of learners, assess their progress, and ensure they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.
You will also work closely with employers to ensure apprentices receive effective on-the-job and off-the-job training aligned with national apprenticeship standards.
Responsibilities for Electrical Installation Assessor Jobs in Middlesbrough:
- To determine learner needs, conduct inductions and preliminary assessments.
- Together with companies and students, create customized learning plans.
- Provide excellent evaluations of behaviors, abilities, and knowledge
- NVQ and apprenticeship standards can help students.
- Get apprentices ready for the End Point Assessment (EPA).
- Assist a caseload of students with direction and progress tracking.

Required Qualifications:
Essential:
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- Qualified Electrician status
- GCSE English and math (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)
Desirable:
- TAQA or A1 Assessor qualification (or willingness to work toward it)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Internal Verification Award (V1 or equivalent)
Experience Required:
- Practical experience in electrical installation (commercial or industrial)
- Proven ability to meet performance targets
- Experience supporting or training others in a workplace setting
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering practices (desirable)
