We are seeking a qualified CASS Oversight & Operations Analyst to join our expanding team as we develop our London office.
Responsibilities for CASS Oversight and Operations Analyst Jobs in UK:
Operations & Settlements
- Track daily cash flows and trade settlements.
- Control settlement cycles and pay unsuccessful transactions
- Work together with financial institutions, counterparties, and custodians.
- Keep thorough records of all trades, positions, and balances.
- Reconcile client funds and custody.
- Examine and fix breaks, inconsistencies, and deficiencies
- Enhance financial control procedures and operational systems
- Make sure client assets are strictly segregated and protected.
CASS Compliance & Oversight
- Encourage adherence to FCA CASS rules
- Keep an eye on operational hazards and internal CASS controls.
- Determine and report security flaws or breaches.
- Keep up with CASS policies, resolution packs, and documentation.
- Help with regulatory submissions and CMAR reporting
- Take part in compliance testing and control evaluations.
Governance & Regulatory Support
- Work closely with senior management on compliance matters
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to governance and control framework improvements
- Assist in regulatory reporting and queries
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (2:1 or equivalent)
- 2–5 years’ experience in operations, settlements, custody, or CASS environment
- Strong knowledge of FCA CASS rules and client asset protection
- Experience with reconciliations and post-trade operations
- Knowledge of Euroclear and/or SWIFT (MT54x messages) is highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- High integrity, responsibility, and professional ethics
