Responsibilities for Classroom Assistant Jobs in UK:
- Welcome designated pupils and ensure safe transitions at arrival and departure
- Provide in-class support following guidance from teachers and Head of Learning Support
- Prepare and adapt learning resources to meet individual pupil needs
- Support small groups or individuals in literacy, numeracy, and handwriting activities
- Accompany pupils between classes and during educational visits, ensuring engagement and safety
- Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtime, and school events
- Assist in school events such as prize-giving and formal occasions
